UNILIT 55 (TD 13R)
Traditional stabilising mortar for static corrections DESCRIPTION
UNILIT
55 is a blend of natural hydraulic lime, pozzolanas, selected aggregates and
natural additives. The overall
compressive strength is 120 kg/cm². Consequently,
the mortar is extremely suitable for repairs and static confirmation.
Characterized
by a very high elasticity and vapour diffusion capacity. APPLICATION
Static
reinforcement of masonry with degraded bricks en joints.
Construction
of lime floors, static confirmation of floors and vaults, with or without
armament. Technical propertiesApparent

Beige PREPARATION
UNILIT
55 is mixed with clean water in a ratio of 4 to 5 litres for a 30 kg bag.
Preferentially, the mixture is prepared mechanically.
Do not mix longer then necessary, as the product will decompose and will
consequently be unusable. The
surface of the masonry to reinforce, has to be cleaned extensively, and has to
be free of impurities and grease. For
this purpose, apply low-pressured water to remove all impurities which
counteract a good adhesion of the mortar. The
masonry joints have to be a little bit deepened to obtain a better adhesion.
Hereafter, UNILIT 55 can be applied in the desired thickness.
