Description

Keim Kristalfelsit is the solvent for Keim Purkristallat powder, based on potassium silicate, after the norm AFNOR 30808 Famille 1 – Classe 1b1.

Application

Keim Kristalfelsitt is suitable for repainting and restoration of non-painted lime, bastard- and cement renders and plasters, with a minimum thickness of 5mm.  The product is suitable for interior as well as exterior applications.  Keim Kristalfelsitt is mainly used on microfissures or on irregular substrates.

Preparation of the substrate

Keim Kristalfelsitt is applied in combination with Purkristalat on a clean, dust-free, fat-free, porous and absorbing substrate. 

*     Clean polluted surfaces (dust, salts) by the use of high-pressured water, scraping or brushing

*     On strongly absorbing substrates, apply a coat of Fixativ, diluted with 1 à 2 volumes of water.

Precautions

Avoid applying Keim Kristalfelsitt in harsh weather conditions like rain, frost or direct sunlight.  In case of rainy conditions, the surface which has to be paint has to be protected.  Avoid applying Keim Kristalfelsitt at temperatures below  5°C of above 25°C.

Cover surfaces that will not be paint.  In case of contact : rinse with water. 

Colours

Keim Kristalfelsitt is only available in white.

Storage

12 month in the original closed tubs, in a dry, cool but frostfree space.  Temperatures between +5°C and +35°C.
